It was only 18 months ago when director Josh Taube was hired on by Sephora to film an interview with twin artists, WizDumb and Straingth. At that time they were just starting out making music for the fun of it. But around the summer of 2020, their lives would change when they decided to post a video on TikTok showing the twins attempting to make a music video based on the song “LBP.” It was from there they saw a huge wave of excitement, support and an immense fanbase practically overnight. A few months later we received an email from the team at Aint Afraid asking us to create a music video capturing the essence that is “LBP.”
“I was surprised they had remembered us!” said Josh happily.
“But once I was asked, I knew I had to make the best possible video to match their talent and I knew that my team had what we needed to knock it out of the park.”
Josh and his director of photography, Theodore Cole Anderson, would spend approximately two months with the artists. They would be preparing for a project that would need two shooting days to complete. With help from Brandon Roberts and Th3 Studio’s Erik Steele, it all came down to the execution on set.

Blue View Cinema has not been known for their video production work as a whole, however, Brandon, Erik and Theo had the experience. After locking in the locations, Blue View Cinema had everything they needed for this to be a success.
“Our goal was to match the quality of their previous videos but to up the stakes. It was time to keep the brand consistent but to incorporate our Blue View style.” Josh said.
Josh also hired on a familiar talent, Courtney Olsen, to play the role of the counselor.
“She had to play the part. It was made for her.” Josh said.
Many individuals led to the success of the production. First Assistant Director, Jose Marrero made sure the production was on task. Cody Hudson assisted Theo in the camera department. Marissa Palmeri made sure the production sound was to standard when recording the introduction to the music video. Every person played their part.
“I also want to give Stacey a shout out for her consistent communication and her role in making sure WizDumb and Straingth had what they needed to perform.” said Josh.
